Larry and Ronda Deckert are the proud owners of Honolulu Scuba Company, bringing over 30 years of combined diving experience and more than 20 years as successful small business owners. Both veterans with a passion for the ocean, they are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of dive safety. Their mission is to share the beauty of Hawaiʻi’s underwater world with aloha, ensuring every guest feels like part of the dive ʻOhana.

Leonard “Lenny” Susbilla is a retired Army veteran and SSI Instructor with Honolulu Scuba Company. With over 20 years of combined dive experience, Lenny brings a wide range of dive skills and a calm, confident presence to every dive. His dedication to safety, education, and the diving community reflects both his military background and his deep love for the ocean.

Ryan Poynter is an experienced dive instructor and the Service Manager at Honolulu Scuba Company. A proud veteran with over 20 years of dive experience, Ryan brings expert knowledge, professionalism, and a calm, safety-first approach to every dive. Whether he's teaching new divers or maintaining top-tier equipment, his commitment to excellence and aloha spirit make him an invaluable part of the team.

Saul Flores is a PADI Instructor and technical diver with Honolulu Scuba Company, bringing over 15 years of experience diving, guiding, and teaching on Oʻahu. Saul knows the island’s dive sites like the back of his hand and is known for his patient, kind approach. He’s dedicated to making every dive a safe, memorable, and personalized experience for each guest.

Darren Jirron is a seasoned Divemaster with over 15 years of dive experience and a spirit of adventure that’s taken him across the globe. Known affectionately as our resident “pirate,” Darren brings a unique blend of aloha, storytelling, and global connection to Honolulu Scuba Company. His passion for the ocean and people makes every dive an unforgettable journey.
