Matthew hails from the area of Detroit, Michigan. When he was 18, he joined the Air Force and served our country for 20 years. After his Military service, he moved to Hawaii and learned to scuba dive. He was one of the first to attend the Hawaii Scuba University, which started his new career in the scuba industry. Matt’s favorite dive is Makaha Caverns on the west side of Oahu. He is now the Service Center Manager for Island Divers Hawaii / Honolulu Scuba Company and an IDC Staff Instructor for the Hawaii Scuba University.
