The West Side Dive Club provides exclusive commercial access to the dive sites on the west side of the island. My name is Matt Zimmerman, Honolulu Scuba Company, and Oahu Dolphin Divers and I’m writing this page to tell you why you should choose to join the West Side Dive Club!
My roots in the business are dive club. I founded Island Divers Hawaii in 2000 and sold it in 2024. That would not have happened without local support. The dive businesses grew from this dive club. I believe that by taking care of the local dive community with a wide variety of diving events, at great rates – that the local community will, in turn, take care of us. They will recommend the club to their friends and bring their visiting friends and family diving with us. Our dive club is our extended Ohana, and we are thankful for that extended family!
I intend to keep this spirit going forward but at a smaller. Honolulu Scuba Company and Oahu Dolphin Divers have one (1) boat! The South Seas II is in Waianae, the only dive boat on the west side of the island since 2000. So joining our club only makes sense if you want to dive on the west side. Lava tube sites, calm water and no competition for dive sites. Also, we are doing black water night dives out there around the new moon.

We have 1 dive boat in Waianae which is run by Oahu Dolphin Divers: the South Seas II.
The South Seas II is the only dive boat on the west side of the island.

Memberships cost $150 a year, $100 for second family member and free to dependents beyond the first. Open to Oahu residents and military only.
